Connecting Avia to Shopify

Connecting Avia to Shopify allows Avia to combine store traffic data with Shopify sales data.

This helps you understand how visitor traffic relates to sales, conversion rate, and store performance.

Before you begin

Before connecting Avia to Shopify, make sure the store has already been set up in Avia.

This includes:

  • Creating the store location

  • Assigning the Avia device serial number

  • Configuring the store opening hours

For more details, see Setting Up a Store in Avia.

Open the Avia app in Shopify

In Shopify Admin, open the Avia app.

Make sure you are using the correct Shopify store, especially if your business has multiple stores or locations.

Confirm the Shopify connection

Once the Avia app is opened, confirm that Shopify is connected to Avia.

This connection allows Avia to use Shopify sales data alongside traffic data from the Avia device.

Check the connected location

If your Shopify account has multiple locations, make sure the correct Shopify location is connected to the correct Avia store.

This helps ensure sales data and traffic data are matched to the same physical store.

Review the dashboard

After the Shopify connection is complete, review the Avia dashboard and confirm that sales-related metrics are appearing.

These may include:

  • Conversion rate

  • Sales

  • Average order value

  • Store performance metrics

It may take some time for new data to appear after the connection is completed.
