Avia & Shopify

Avia is built within Shopify: install the app and traffic, sales, and inventory data connect.

Avia is built within Shopify. Install the app from the Shopify App Store and everything runs from there: dashboard, billing, and the data connection between store traffic and sales.

What the integration unlocks

Shopify holds your transactional data: what was sold, order values, product details, inventory levels, and your store address. Avia captures the non-transactional data: who came in, how long they stayed, demographics. Combined, they produce metrics neither could alone:

  • Conversion rate: Shopify transactions divided by Avia Unique Visitors

  • AOV: pulled from Shopify orders

  • Gross Sales: synced from Shopify, shown alongside traffic in the daily performance table

  • Stockout prediction: Shopify inventory levels and sell-through rates predict when items run out

  • Traffic forecast calibration: your Shopify store address pulls local weather data into the forecast

Where the dashboard lives

For Shopify merchants, the Avia dashboard is inside Shopify Admin, with a staff-facing view on iPad via Shopify POS.

Confirming the connection

  1. In Shopify Admin, open the Avia app (confirm you're in the correct Shopify store if you manage several).

  2. Confirm Shopify is connected to Avia.

  3. If your Shopify account has multiple locations, confirm the correct Shopify location is linked to the correct Avia store, so sales and traffic match the same physical store.

  4. Review the dashboard: conversion rate, sales, and AOV should appear.

Info: It may take some time for new data to appear after the connection completes.

Not on Shopify POS, or not on Shopify?

Avia works there too; the data paths differ. See the Account, billing & access collection for your setup.
