LED Status Guide
The Avia device uses indicator lights to help confirm whether it is powered on and connected correctly.
During installation or troubleshooting, checking the device lights can help identify whether the device is ready, still connecting, or needs further support.
What to check
After connecting the Avia device to power and internet, check the indicator lights on the device.
In a normal setup, the lights should become stable after the device finishes starting up.
If one or more lights are blinking, off, or not becoming stable, the device may still be connecting or may need troubleshooting.
Stable lights
Stable lights usually indicate that the device is powered and connected correctly.
If the device lights are stable, continue with the next setup step in the Avia app.
Blinking lights
Blinking lights may mean that the device is still starting up, connecting to the network, or unable to complete the connection.
If the lights continue blinking for more than a few minutes, check the following:
The device is connected to power
The Ethernet cable is properly connected, if using Ethernet or PoE
The PoE switch or PoE injector is powered, if using PoE
The Wi-Fi network is available, if using Wi-Fi
The device and phone are on the same network during setup
No lights
If no lights appear on the device, check the power source.
If using a DC adapter:
Confirm the power adapter is plugged in
Try another power outlet if available
If using PoE:
Confirm the switch supports PoE
Make sure the cable is connected to a PoE-enabled port
If using a PoE injector, confirm the injector is plugged into power
