Understanding the Traffic Heatmap
The traffic heatmap helps you understand when your store is busiest during the selected period.
It gives a visual view of traffic patterns by day and time, making it easier to identify peak hours, slow periods, and recurring trends.
What the heatmap shows
The heatmap shows how store activity changes across different days and times.
You can use it to understand:
When traffic is highest
When traffic is lowest
Which days are busiest
Which time periods may need more staff
How customer visits change throughout the week

How to use the heatmap
Use the heatmap to quickly identify patterns in your store traffic.
For example, you can check:
If weekends are busier than weekdays
If mornings, afternoons, or evenings perform better
If traffic increases after a campaign or promotion
If certain hours consistently have low traffic
This can help with staffing, planning, and store performance analysis.
Using filters with the heatmap
The heatmap updates based on the selected filters in the dashboard.
Before reviewing the heatmap, make sure you have selected the correct:
Date range
Store or location
Metric, if available
Changing these filters may change what appears in the heatmap.
Important note
The heatmap is based on the selected dashboard data.
If the selected date range has little or no traffic, the heatmap may appear empty or lighter than expected.
If the heatmap is empty
If the heatmap appears empty, first check the selected store and date range.
Before contacting support, confirm that:
The correct store is selected
The correct date range is selected
The store was open during the selected dates
Visitors entered the store during the selected dates
Store opening hours are configured correctly in Store Management
The device serial number is assigned to the correct store
If the selected dates have no traffic, the heatmap may appear empty.
